He's violent and possibly obsessive.

He carried on dancing like that because he hits her, or wants to hit her, quite often. This is evident by the way he does it despite all the witnesses. It looked almost like a reflex, an automatic movement.

^ That's also possible, but I doubt it. He'd have waited until they got home.
