fake, decent adobe, there must have been a pic taken of his back, look where his right hand is grabbing; he is grabbing the rail in the left version and grabbng air in the right. Also,the shadow behind his legs is clearly airbrushed as it's clear gray, it shouldn't be taht soft. Good nonetheless

Whoever believes that this ISN'T a photoshop is pretty much a douche, lol.

For one, it'd be impossible for the same guy to be walking up the same stairs at the exact same time going in impossibly inverted directions.

Second, the shadow thing that Sambooza mentioned is also true. The color and opacity are wrong...although, the arguement could be made that some of that could be the crappy image compression this person chose to use.

To sum up, this is a great optical illusion and I love it...and shame on those people who think it's real, lol.

A very simple solution is, can you see the floor when your walking up or down the stairs? If your walking down, you can see the bottom, but if your walking up, then all you see is the ceiling!
