The Irony of your upload is actually, mythbusters covered this experiment and made their own water bottle jet pack and they used this video as research =D

that doesn't look right... I think it's fake, there is no way the small initial burst of energy from those water bottles would carry that guy such a great distance.

So what did mythbuster wrong? Saw it on the german TV yesterday...Or was it a fake. It seems to be. The first camera shot looked like it was CG. But I am not sur about it

I think this was the clip the Mythbusters used for where it originated from. Turns out the show used some sort of guide line.
