Yea the tag system don't work, and I wish that when you comment, it was somewhat separate from the whole page so that when you do submit, it wouldn't refresh the page make u watch the video all over again...but all in 2.0 is better than 1.0, just some quirks...

Go there and post under the feedback or support forum regarding any tech issues.

As for the video, I just realized that this video was all easily generated (thanks to 2ndhandsmoker) and is just a display of random animation.

A forum post would have been more informative and helpful than this video to gather support. Perhaps you were just XP whoring, hehe. You tricked us.

There are 10+ admins regularly deleting poor content. Spiked gets hundreds of videos and thousands of pics submitted... which leaves a lot of room for poor or duplicate content.

I KNOW you guys wouldn't like plowing through tons of crap (you wouldn't know what that's like, because we have always moderated content... read our terms of service), so that's why we archive mediocre content (by changing the date and sending it to the back of the archives) and delete duplicate content. Most people think their stuff has been deleted, when it was actually just pushed to the last page...

We could fix this by notifying members of changes to their article state/status. Maybe we could even have it set up to force admins to leave a reason for editing articles.

Admins have become more liberal with controlling the front page.
It is for the better because:

We can avoid having 15-part documentaries posted by archiving them all (or possibly parts 6-15) and also speed up the promotion of obviously good content which is itching to get out of the recently added section. This makes for a polished off selection of media. This is how it's always worked, but we have recently been manually speeding up the process of archiving and promoting more. After a while, it's pretty easy to predict the fate of an article, so we're just increasing productivity. I hope this answers some of your questions.

Not many people actually check the public uploads, since most just watch the front page.

Our goal is to keep Spiked extra fresh and orderly. For example, we'd like to keep the amount of recently added videos to 10 pages or below, to speed up screening/processing.
