Nice animation.
Just one question though, what's that fat blob with legs? Looks like some big fat alien bug from starship troopers. Haha

This is amazing. It's like a whole new world completely alien to anything i could have imagined. To be so small and to perceive everything so differently is just amazing. It make me wonder what its like at an even smaller scale. Or on an unimaginable larger scale.

This'll keep me thinking for awhile. Let the imagination flow.

It's stunning to see the intricacies of the human body brought to life on a nanoscopic scale.

It shows us that while barely adequate, the mechanisms that make us tick are utterly beautiful.

Sorry to sound geeky but answer to TheLoks question is: im guessing u mean the big blue blob that has legs dragging its self, thats a cargo vesicle (the leg part) and the blue blob part is a membrane.

Sort of...The fat blob is a cargo vesicle (the inside of which is continuous with the outside of the cell) and the leg part is a motor protein either dynein or kinesin (depending on the direction) and it's walking along a microtubule which is part of the cytoskeleton (the vast network in a cell that give the cell motility, shape, and allows for intracellular transport)

Amazing to know that throughout all the universe with all its complexity, what goes on in our own body is the most complex thing of all.
To think that all that 'just popped out of nothingness and developed into what it is today. Yeah right.
It might not be a God the exact way Christians describe it but soemthing got down to business and did some designing.

You know, considering that 'tollerance' is the buz word these days. This Spiked comment bury system is pretty fucking intollerant.
You don't get buried for extremely offensive comments these days, you get burried if a couple of people happen to not like your opinin.
Power to the people eh.

i think the last scene was a white blood cell going through the endothelium cells of a capillary or blood vessel to get to an infection or infammatory site. there are so many proteins and signals involved to attract white blood cells to specific sites, to let them attach to the endothelial cells, and allow them to actually go THROUGH the cells instead of just between them. i thought this was a great vid, would have been nice if they labelled some things we were looking at or had a description somewhere? if anyone knows where to see more, i hope they can post more vids. i hope this wont turn into another creationism/evolution debate, just enjoy someone's amazing rendition of some of the complex processes that go on in a cell

As a science major, I find this quite fascinating. And to think, these scenes happen in EVERY cell of the 3 billion+ cells in your human body in spontaneous and simultaneous action. For every second you're alive, it is truly magic in that all your systems work in such coordination for such the complexity.

great song btw 5/5
