For a while I didn't read it. When I did, it was amazing. I actually went and did research about the claims made in the book. A bunch of it is pretty damn accurate. And hell, I knew forever that Magdalene and Jesus were an item. That's obvious.

Don't speculate about whether or not he has read it. The "restrain this monster" passage doesn't appear until quite late in the book.

It's one thing to like the book. It's another to consider it fact and feel all giddy when talking about these oh-so-intriguing secrets...
Brown has stated it himself that it is fiction.
