If Yoshida would of kept up the fighting style he was using at the beginning he would of won that fight easily. Thompson was getting his ass pounded then Yoshida started using terrible holds and taking hits constantly.

I don't know what the fuss is about this fight, it was a bit exciting due to the back and forth and the bit of ground escapes.. But the standup looked more like a couple of drunk fools outside a kebab shop.
Seriously, anyone on here that has actually trained or even knows anything about actual fighting say different. And gassing halfway through the FIRST fucking round?? Come on...
But either of these tools against anyone at all with actual solid experience and they'll get worked, HARD.

Vyrtualdogg.... You hafto understand this takes alot more energy than boxing or something they are goiing to gas. And pride has 10 minute first rounds... UFC is only 5. Lol. They looked so damn drunk cuz they were punch drunk, ever heard of it? The gloves are a quarter inch thick. James thomspon also has never been trained or anything. He learned 100% off internet videos. Lol Gotta give him credit =)

well yes I've been training mma for 3 years, and boxing for 10, I know exactly how much it takes to stand there for 10 mins. And gassing in the first 4 is unimpressive, especially due to the fact that they've worked their way up through the lower level fighting programs and up to one of the 'big shows'.
And just so you know, the term 'punch drunk' does not mean you get tired in the ring, it refers to the abuse you take to the head over years of fighting and apparent effects it has on your intelligence. Get your facts straight. so, have YOU ever heard of it?
So I'll say it again, anyone with any ACTUAL knowledge about fighting, not a barstool hero, tell me different. They won't, because it's true.
