My son breast fed till he was 4. Late by North Americal standards, but seemed natural at the time. The last year was the comfort year for him.

7 years seems odd, but what the fuck do any of us know? We aren't them, and we (I betcha) have never been there, done that, to really have any real insight in the matter.

I guess mom's probably in the ballpark with her stance that it's good. But I am really glad that she's in the UK, where moneyed folks can still be free without the Nazi thought police & attitudes we have on this side of the pond.

No body's bleeding, so it's none of our (or anybodies) damned business.

I've also heard it builds a much stronger immune system for life. This stuff is weird but needs scientific attention. It could be one of those things where morals are blocking human progression. Just like stem cell research, yannoe?
