EVERY SINGLE debate I've heard on this issue, the right winger says, "I want to protect marriage." And then when asked how allowing gay people to marry could affect heterosexual marriage in any adverse way, he has no answer. It's just plain bullshit.

I have always thought Louis CK was hilarious, one of the best comics from what I have seen of him. But now he makes a strong political statement while still being hilarious, and he approaches hero status.

Well i'm a realist and all i can say is this. There's a reason why married couples are given tax support and all that. It's because they could have children that would support the economy in the future.

Gay people can get married if they want (I still think it's against biblical teaching) but unless they adopt and raise kids to be future productive members of society, they should not be given the same tax support. It just defeats the purpose of the law.

Look back in history about sex and the partners people chose. Nothing has changed over time, just the media has exploited the shit out of it.

If two gay people want to be married, then that's their business. You right wing religious dumbfucks know how god made every single one of us in HIS IMAGE. For those of us that ARE intelligent, we understand that a lot of people do choose to be gay, but the majority of gay people are BORN that way. They can tell you how they knew they were different at a very young age. So, like I said, we are all made in God's image, so does that make god a fuck up? I thought the all powerful never made mistakes. The church and that ridiculously rewritten book, the bible, have no say about ethics and what right or wrong is (just look at the catholic church's track record on that one). They have no say on what marriage is either. Getting married is about love, not sexual reproduction. Some nut job back in sometime AD probably rewrote the bible, AGAIN, to make these stupid claims.

Let these people have their lifestyle. If they want to get married, and adopt a child (which I find HIGHLY respectable), the let them. It does not affect you in any shape or form. And for you bible bangers, yes, we know they will go to hell because it is a sin, soooooo, let Lucifer take care of them, k? And in the meantime, go on with your life and leave them the fuck alone.
