The meals at British pubs are top notch. Nothing beats meat and potatoes in my book. Maybe a few mushrooms. :)

Finally something else that I give a shit about. At least you have a reasonable drinking age. Not having a drinking age would be best but at least 18 is ok.

probably one off my favourite things in this country are traditional pubs like this one, the kind that allows dogs, has the regular pipe smoker at the bar, the old men in the corner playing cribbage,the open fire and most of all real ale
