^^ The zoo wasn't going to kill Knut, the guy in the video is a veterinarian working for the zoo. It was one guy who was unaffiliated with the zoo who said that the bear should be killed and it made a huge stink because the media portrayed it to be a whole group of animal activists.

But the point is, OMFG this little guy is adorable.

That cub is so fucking adorable.
I grew up in the mountains of Northern British Columbia and we used to go bear watch all the time.
Polar bears are actually the biggest bear as well, and one of the few mamals that can't be seen with an infa-red camera due to their fur being hollow. It's the second meanest bear as well, interestingly enough the cutest bear of all is the meanest, the Panda
