They're pulling people over for just not having their seatbelts on? What douchebags.

they stand with these fucking contraptions making sure they make drivers pay hefty fines, all whilst some gil gets raped in the other side of town ... wheres the justice in that?

wanna make the roads safer? make it harder than for anyone with a dead pulse and $30 to get a licence.

They're doing their jobs jesus christ calm down. What if one of those guys speeding was a carjacker? Or even a wanted criminal? I think it's worth it.

Seriously. I don't like getting caught speeding, or any number of other things, but shit happens. It's your choice to break their laws, deal with it when you get caught, not cry like a whiny bitch.

The world is stupid, they set speed limits but build cars capable of going over twice that.

@Teddyslayer86 no they are pulling people for speeding near a residential area...i think what they are doing is a good thing... and you will to when some PUNK ASS speeds by your neighborhood and runs over your kid..then you'll be wondering
"why don't police pull over more speeders..wa wa wa.. don't bitch now and cry later when som asshole runs over someone you love because they were going to fast.....

and by the way the officer is telling tell to "also check the seat belt".. listen to the whole thing before you post

and who ever votes this post down i hope a car runs over someone you love.. and drives away so you never get justice..

@Choix
It would be way too dangerous to have the speed limit hardwired in cars. Every miscounted overtake attempt would mean certain death for all participants. For the very same reason you can roll Boeing 707 ( http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/79368/Tex_Johnson_Rolls_a_Boeing_707.ht
ml ) even though it is strictly forbidden maneuvre in real traffic. Crippling the 707 capabilities would just make it impossible for pilot to recover one day and it will kill a lot of people ... same goes for cars.

Speed limits are also in place to help subsidize police departments in general. The money garnered from speeding tickets/ parking tickets/ and any other moving violation goes in part to the police station in efforts to boost salaries, benefits, maintain vehicles, etc.

Without the basic fundamentals of tickets - one would see a majority of police stations around the country would be unable of sustaining basic operation with mere tax money alone.
