So it's going to make my 800 word essay into a 1000 word essay?! Awesome! :P

With the right programs, you can just adjust kerning and leading. Tweaking it just a bit would make a large difference with a long essay. Just some helpful advice. :)

His trick is good too, only if the essay criteria goes by page and not by word count.

this is what i did to change a 2.3 to a 3 page paper.

move side margins in a quarter inch. spacing is 2.3. then increase the character spacing by going into format font and clicking on the character spacing tab. this one should help some too.

Great find. However anyone wants to take it - it's just another tool in finishing up a paper. You still have to write the paper, but this sure helps to reduce stress when you are required to turn in a paper w/ a page number req.
