It's not worms, it's fat. The phosphoric acid in the cola soaks into the meat and basically "cooks" tiny portions of the meat. This causes the "uncooked" meat to constrict and push globs of fat to the surface. The globs of fat, at first glance, look like maggots. Not a big deal and happens every time you marinate pork with any product containing phosphoric acid.
