Excellent fight, one of the best i've seen. Gomi just lost it, fight was over in Round 1, Diaz just got to rain down pain on him and just put him down.

im pretty sure gomi could do way better than this, it looked like he gased really quickly but hes such a tough fighter, im sure he could kick nick diaz's ass.

maybe i missed something but why do you guys say that is a "a great fight"

it was a couple of guys rolling around on the floor for the first 4 minutes, after that it got ok, but i certainly didnt see anything spectacular.... it looked like a couple of boxers that dont know how to block..... just swinging away...

and correct me if im wrong, but you can kick in MMA correct? so why did i only see one knee and no kicks in the entire fight

this is why i dont watch UFC

maybe i just dont like the wrestling i dunno

^ Once you learn the ground game it becomes far more interesting. I used to think UFC was mostly boring too, but then I learned the ground game and it became far more exciting.

This fight in particular was exciting because it was back and forth, and the crazy way Diaz finished him.

Jap fighters are weird. They don't exactly let their emotions over run their technique but they kind of have a disdain in their body language when they fight and it causes them to be kind of cavelier which compromises them i think.
