I had a teacher in primary school with a missing finger. She said that she lost it when her ring got caught on a fence wire. It was pretty gross when we had our primary school graduation because we had to dance with her for a moment, and it felt gross holding her hand with the missing finger. Ah memories.

that is one of the first rules of being a mechanic... ALWAYS remove rings or necklaces or tie up long hair when working on your vehicle.

the person on this pic is lucky... my neighbor lost half of his finger when his truck came off the jacks and his ring got caught.
