this is my buddy n me tuning his Turbo B16a2, running at 10 psi. ~400 horses out of 1.6L, only honda.

Only a honda? dude u can do this with a subaru or even an electric car i've seen on discovery channel... and just letting you know your car isn't that bad as u think its still a honda. and u probably blew more mone than u could ever think in that thing whenu coulda used it on a cheaper faster car... Actualy when i look again... ure cars below average when it comes to some souped up cars... No offence But WHY a honda... seriously

mike tea, what i'm trying to tell you is, last time i checked your subaru has a huge displacement over a 1.6, what i'm saying is while honda may be not the most luxurious of cars, the displacement/power ratio of honda higher end engines is not to be overlooked. take the b18c5, a 1.8 litre double over head cam, that is 210 hp stock. its displacement to power ratio, exceeds that of many exoctics. when i said only honda i literally meant, no car company car make a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder like honda. no that motor has not blown, its got low compression H-beam cylinders to take the boost, among many more the block is forged, its not running at 25psi.. my point being is your are talking trash with your 5000cc motor to my buddys 1600cc and now running at 25psi is damn close to 600hp. 600 hp in a car that weighs 1 thirds of your stang, money down it will eat your stang for diner. go take your 4 extra cylinders somewhere else.


h22a prelude motor = 2.2 litres 220hp stock, 100hp per 1.0L of displacement. the b18c5's is only better.

stock 2007 stang gt = 5.0L 300hp stock 5000c to 300 hp, wow thats amazing gogogo v8.

it would still blow it away in a race as much as u talk sure you'd get off the line faster... well Deffinantly not with these gears but if u have lower i'd say yes but i'd pass u doing around 120 on thru 190 while hte honda probably tops out a little below that

Why a Honda? Only a Honda? You ever think about how Honda has the most powerful 4 cyl engine out there? Their list of mods go on and on. You look at 400 HP and you isn't impressed when it could easily kill a 500 hp Mustang when done right. Do you know why? Your mustang weighs much more than any built Honda. There are Hondas built up doing easy 11 sec/10 sec/9 sec quarter miles. And if you still arent satisfied some guy has a built 240 doing 7 sec runs. I have nothing against U.S cars but you seem to have everything against imports or at least Honda when you could easily get smoked by one.

Shit my friend with a HATCH with a H22 motor stock that puts out 200 HP KILLED a Mustang V8, A Camaro LS1, and some import cars himself. I will not doubt your Mustang can be finely tuned to 850 HP, but so can the Honda and its been done not only by Honda, but by Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Subaru motors themselves. There is a video of a 550 hp Evo on youtube doing 9 sec quarter miles with full interior. A corvette z06 doesn't do 9 sec quarter miles. A Ford GT 500 does quarter mile in 12.9 secs according to Road and Track. Shit ive seen a Civic full interior do 11.5. And when you compare the sticker price of a GT 500's 40 K to a $5000 car + lets say 20 K in mods then damn you see a big ass difference. Just some people rather drop thousands and thousands modding a car than buying a fancy car.

And you must understand Milktea, if you could do 850 HP to a car you obviously know that will cost you an arm and leg. So if you can do it, the Honda guy can. If you lived in Houston i would tell you to line up your car against my homeboy's hatch. And no one cares at 190. Hell if we start on the highway at 60 and i was to smoke you til my limited speed of 135 it wont matter. I won.

Ya right all honda owners can do is throw money at there small engines to get hp.

just a normal v8 with a good cam,carb will have a much better weight to hp ratio.(in the same car)

It's funny when a 4,000 dollar honda engine is compared to a 2000 v8.

Also, 400hp my ass! Post the dyno if you want us to believe you because from watching the vid I'm almost certain my stock accord you burn you. You have to wake up and realize that what you guys are doing is a complete utter waste of time and money. The sad thing is you won't realize it for another 5 years.

Yeah it would smoke a stang, but thats not right to compare them cause your boys rice rocket aint stock. If you put turbo or in a stang it would kill that honda.A Cobra would take that car and hand its ass to it. And I hate Fords.But cool Vid, Nice to see good camera work in car videos.
