I am NOT saying it is fake, but I am having difficulty believing a razor sharp boomerang was allowed to be thrown out into the studio audience. It seems likely the apple was already cut and he just got the boomerang to hit him in the head, which for anyone who has thrown one of these, is surprisingly easy (ow).

Why do you think the boomerang is razor sharp? Chris from the wild boys hit himsefl in the forhead when he tryed to catch one, and he threw if way further, it was going way faster. It gave him a small gash, but he was alright.

I actually reckon the audience and building are fake and that cheating mother fucker is kneeling in front of one of those god damn blue screens with a wax apple already cut in half with the top half tied to a piece of string with a stunt appleman holding the other end of the string behind the kangeroo cut-out and the 3 pronged rotor boomerang is really a digital....THUD!!

I am saying it would have to be razor sharp because it cleaved that apple clean in half. As you said, if it was just a regular boomerang and it hit the apple it would just make a gash, as in that guys head.

From the beginning of the clip it looks like the apple is already pre-cut into two pieces, and that the boomerang just knocked the top part off the bottom part. Yeah, it looks like a pretty clean cut for a boomerang otherwise.
