yeah alluminium does not sparkle or "blow up " like that... not unless foil is crumpled or you put in a fork or something. It needs points or ridges t arch off

The aluminium reflects the microwaves, if however, you take a frozen (glass) bottle of beer it will indeed explode because as the beer melts sections of water appear in the ice that absord microwaves and become superheated, this superheated steam is eventually released as a considerably powerful explosion.
