On Jan 15 2007 Patrick Mitchell succumbed to cancer in a U.S. prison hospital. The leader of the Stopwatch Gang, maybe the most successeful ever at robbing banks, was serving a sentence in the U.S.A. Despite failing health and numerous requests from friends and family U.S. authorities failed to do the right thing.
