There was talk of axing the show right after this accident. What a loss if they did.

The UK population is continually be wrapped in cotton wool and "protected" from all things bad and dangerous. It's shows like this, and men like the Hamster, that remind us of our pioneering spirit that drove us to conqueor and discover much of the world back in the day.

I wonder how far teenagers of the 21st century would get in the world today? Canvey Island?
