He was trying to promote embryonic stem cells during the elections. What they didn't say is, adult stem cells are widely studied, and supported, but they didn't want to say it was the other. Also, Rush, was imitating how Michael looked like during his commercial for those people that watch him during his radio show. He wasn't making fun of him. Plus, who cares if Rush has something against them? I you believe your point is right, state the true facts and go on that, don't dwell on what a radio talker has to say.

Either you're stupid or biased. He was VERY OBVIOSLY mocking him, it's not even debatable from an objective point of view.

The reason embriyotic stem cells are more sought after than adult stem cells is that the adult stem cells have what is known as a limited capacity for cellular differentiation. Stem cells are replicated to replace damaged cells in the human body using natures automatic biological mechanisms, but the adult stem cells don't work for everything, they have to be used for specialized treatments. Embryonic stem cells are much more flexible and any embryonic cell can be used for any stem cell related treatment, there is not 'classification' of types.

Also, culturing of embryonic cells is much easier and allows a larger supply to be grown much quicker.

Further, M.J.Fox makes an excellent argument about the cells being disposed of, and he is correct that they are throwing that biological material away. I have never heard an argument that says it is better to throw those cells away then to use them, for fucking SOMETHING.

Should give him some MDMA (ecstasy) once in a while, it's been proven several times that it helps control the motor functions of people suffering from parkinson's.

Problems being the obvious side effects and implications of legalising it for production.

This is tough to watch cuz my grandfather just recently died of Parkinson's. Well anyway, I admire Michael J. Fox for his message, and his tact. Good upload. anyone have the link to the Rush Limbaugh segment? I want to judge for myself...
