Yes it's from Singapore, I know it because i'm from there, this use to be just an audio being passed around the internet, now they just add in the sub title and made it into a video.

The language that guy used to communicate with his friend is a mixture of mandarin, hokkien and english. Don't laugh at us, that's how most of the local here speaks, we call it Singlish. Thanks to our mixed culture!

btw don't mistake it for a prank call, the recording was done live with the intent to ridicule the indian stallholder's accent and no it's not staged.

i am an aussie but i lived in singapore for 7 years. they are speaking singlish which is a cross between english / chinese (manderin,cantonese,hokien)/malaysian/indian (hindi, tamil).

basically the guy ordering is @ a local hawker stall (food court where they make food of all kinds) he has probably walked up to "halal" stall where they sell halal food for muslim/islamic people. they dont eat pork because it is a dirty animal and it has a wet nose. (same thing goes with dogs, they dont like dogs because they have wet noses)

so yeah you get the point.. he keeps asking for pork.. but they obviously dont sell it, and its pretty offensive because its like running up to a jew and stealing his hat or something.
