and usually poor people who have to support themselves in some way.
don't all of you want a nice life with nice things around you ? well you can't always get them because they're way overpriced sometimes (take iPod for instance). that's why people steal them.
i feel sorry for that guy, and if that were me (which is not the case :P) when they got me out of that cage, the driver better not be around for his life's sake...

@theandaid: There are such things as morals. If you don't have a job, get one, you can allways find someone who will pay you a small amount of money to do menial labor and if you aren't lazy there is always something to do. If you are not happy with the amount of income you have you should get a better job. Don't have the qualifications? Boohoo! You shouldn't have dropped out of school.

Besides that guy didn't look like he was down to his last cent. If this was his only way of not dying from hunger then I can understand, otherwise he is merely a parasite feeding of the labour of others.

If you stole a loaf of bread cos you were hungry and you had no money to buy one i might be more sympathetic. Stealing cos you dont have enough to keep up with current trends is crap, thats why you get a job or save up and if ur in the situation where u dont earn enough then you learn to live with what you got and get an education and then get a higher paid job

well there are different types of thieves actually
you have those rich kids who only steal for fun, for the thrill (they totally suck dick)
then you have those who steal ipods and xboxes n shit to keep up with trends, but can't afford to buy them (punks)
well i'm sure there are those who steal for a living (professional burglars and bankrobbers, Ocean's XX style)
and those who commit small thefts to get food on the table (forgiveable ?)

well in the end i'm just speculating, but you should always try to see things from the perpetrators point of view, whether he is the kid in this vid or Saddam motherfucking Hussein. who knows, maybe he had good reasons for those village massacres... but i can't say i approve of them :P
