i have no comment as to how ownage that house is. I guarantee i bet his neighbors dont think its so cool at night when they are trying to sleep.

you don't ever see this kind of stuff, even in KISS concerts, and believe me they SHOULD CERTAINLY HAVE some of the best guys around. C'mon guys, i'm sorry to tell you this, but this video is FAKE. This is only a very clever animation. The guys only took a long shot of the house in the semi-dark, and then animated with a computer the lights and made them in harmony with the melody. Mi girlfriend studies this kind of stuff and i know a little bit. This is done with strong animating programs like Maya and 3D Studio Max, the same programs they used to create artificial landscapes in movies like the Lord of the Rings.

Just don't go around believing all that you see over the internet :P

even if what you said was true (which it isn't) Then it would be one hell of a graphic artist to render perfectly every christmas light, the light reflection off the house and yard, and dimming.

so either way, impressive

BTW maya and 3dsm wouldn't be powerful enough, nothing short of hollywood could pull that off perfectly.

eltracalas, I totally agree with you, Ya I know, this web site we're in right now posting, is FAKE, it's done using 3D Studio Max, what you are seeing right now in front (your keyboard) is photoshopped. Your car that you're driving is done using Maya. Your girlfriend is also fake, she was done using 3D Studio Max or Maya, pick one. Everything in this world is FAKE, even the whole universe is just a paste and edited material done using Photoshop, so what you are seeing right now above your head is FAKE.

Just don't go around believing all that you see in real life is real, because its fake. =P

Im a graphic artist. I work with 3d media all the time, along with cg animation. Maya, 3d studio max, lightwave............ all of them very powerful programs.... but this vid in no way tells me its a fake.

what would be easier, completely generating all those lighting effects with 3d studio max, or just sitting down with a light computer and syncing up the lights? hint: for those of you who havent used 3d studio max, lightning effects on a real background are HARD

Damnit G00selee! You stole my "FAKE!!" comment lawlz. But no seriously that was great, I just got up and that made my eye's burn due to the fact that I frgot to blink. Maybe it's just me but the lights between the circles on the top of the house sort of look like TVs popping on and off. Just me?
