This a little clip i did of Martin Scorsese's "The Departed", great film! What i did was took all the "whacked" scenes from the film, and put them all together...Great music tracks...Great little clip!! Check it out!! But Beware Spoilers!!

For those who dont know, this is a remake of a chinese movie. I saw the chinese version first, so naturally i liked the chinese version better (Matt Damon just didn't fit the role, among other flaws). Check out the original if you want: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338564/

"Damon just didn't fit the role"?? I thought Damon was great for the police mole. Infernal Affairs was a good movie but i'm getting sick and tired of people saying this and that about The Departed! It was a great movie fair and square nothing was ripped off, and nothing was stolen..Siu Fai Mak same guy who wrote and directed "Infernal Affairs" helped write the screenplay for The Departed...

ROCKST*R_Films, it was a remake, a scene by scene remake, there wasn't much new in the movie except dicaprio's character sleeping with the psychiatrist, and damon dieing at the end. Nothing was "ripped off" or "stolen" only because they made it with the permission of the original creator, its a matter of terminology. I thought departed was a good remake, but i wouldn't give it the credit i would give to the original, because there was very little original about it. And IMO, Damon didn't fit the role because he didn't quite look malicious enough. Thats just my opinion, most of the time he just looked scared. DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson on the other hand were absolutely brilliant.

Oh okay yeah i totally agree, misunderstood you. The Departed obviously would'nt get the award for most original screenplay. But as far as "Remakes" go..I thought it was an excellent film!!
