I dislike the use of the Pentagram. To some of us it is sacred and not to be used in parlor tricks such as these. Be the same thing as some guy doing the "cut the beautiful female assistant in half" trick, only she was crucified instead of locked in a box.

noah, it's simply that, a trick as you said. It's not meant to offend. But he uses it for the effect. I mean I'm Christian and if he was using a cross I still wouldn't mind because I know that it's just for the effect of the thing. Most people see a symbol like that and they think of some divine power. Couple that with the trick and they begin thinking the two are linked. I just find it amusing.

I agree fubar. Clearly religions are just ways of creating social order, which I think isn't really a bad thing at all. I just wish humans could conceive of morality outside of religion, like for morality's sake alone, and for the advancement of human civilization. Instead of vesting all our energy into something external and imagined.

I agree to an extent kronbons, and for awhile I thought God didn't exist. But I'm a child of science. Did you know that humans had a .00000000000001% chance of being created? How did that happen? And how did our bodies turn out so perfect as to work in harmony beautifully, and give us a frontal lobe as well?

Then there is the whole math argument as well. Math works. You don't have to change math at all, it just works. And it never doesn't work. Its always applicable to every sort of sitauation possible, and you don't have to alter the basic properties of one, two, three.

Its stuff like that that got me to believe again.

Every magician appearing on television and performing these illusions hire a group of actors, anywhere from 1 to 200 actors to look like people just off the street who volunteer and observe like anyone passing by (even in the busy streets of New York or Tokyo - from store owners to shoppers at a mall). They use cables, hydraulics matted with blue/green screen technology which are later edited out via CG programs - the same special effects as in the Matrix and other movies, except this is meant to look real. This is a business that makes millions, with PR specialists, CG specialists, financiers, marketers... That's how they do it, so stop wondering!

YOU GUYS ARE SUCH IMBECILES. Of course there's a God. But I have my own theory, and the theory is that whatever happens to you is whatever you believe. If you believe there is a heaven and hell then that is where your spirit goes. If you believe in nothing, then dust is all you become. If you believe in reincarnation, then you will certainly be reincarnated. It's all about choice, and what you choose to believe will happen. If, on the other hand, you believe you will be the master of 100 virgin girls if you blow yourself up in a crowded street full of women and children, you are certainly going to hell you bastard.
