It's a pretty good show, last episode was one of my favorites, I think it does a decent enough job of following history although it speeds threw it a bit quickly. seeing as fubar most likely knows nothing of roman history just ignore him

Actualy the show is a bit lacking on the old battle front. It's more a look at the relationships political and personal of the roman era. It's not at all up to the Deadwood standard but it's quite good.
