1monkey1 - i havent, and i have had several computers over the last 9 years. i have too much important information on my hard drives to waste them like that.

ss32 ummmm.... guess you never had a hard drive die? Just get your first computer couple years ago? Heck the magnets in old 1-5 gig drives are worth more than the drive it self.

Thats so wrong. Hard drives run on magic smoke, you can tell this because if you ever see smoke come out of your hard drive you know it won't work anymore because the smoke escaped.
