i would have to agree with everything he said. i'm a christian myself, but i'm tired of christians having their hands in EVERYTHING this world deals with simply because of a FAITH!!!! faith can't controll a human being's life, and it should NEVER be used to possibly deminish the chance of saving others, in this case, stem cell research.

ss32 stfu. u of all ppl wouldnt know if there's a god or not. im a christian and im tired of these damn ppl bloccin the stem cell research. if scientists/engineers can improve our lives in ways thats against my religion, then go right ahead. its not gonna affect me at all. its juss gonna make my kids lives much better.

faith is best use from someone who knows nothing else but their own faith. the irony is religion tends to know a lot more about science than scientists themselves. in many cases, the problem is some people don't think for themselves.

The human brain is very adaptable, that's why we have to live in society to have a conscious, an intelect, etc... human brain is developed based on mimicry, if you put a baby in a wolf pack he'll become a wolf but will be limited by it's human body but if you take that kid and put him in a different enviroment (like society) he'll become a human in time because no matter what our bodies (and brain) tend to addapt... so when we are wolves do we have a human soul or not?... I'm just sayin' that people shouldn't be so concerned about fetuses, embrions, etc... they're just a collection of cells that have the potential of a soul, screw religion, no one gets it, it's very interpretative, I'm not an theist or anything but the thing that pisses me off is when other people try to impose their own beliefs on me... screw religious groups, believe in God in your own way... if I can make that choice then I'll make it, why else would I have it anyway?

ive said before and will again, there is a god, its just the nature of it that we can't define. god may well be a gas, or maybe that wierd cat thing from south park.
it might be something we cant understand at all, it might not be comprohensible, maybe we are all sub atomic particles surfing on the atom that we call earth and making up a little bit of gods DNA
it might be the big bang.
maybe niche was correct maybe god is dead.
but as long as we all hold faith in humans as being prophets and kings, we will never move on to the bigger picture

Manwhore says to the young man "Perhaps you are not yet sharp enough to be aware of God and not clever enough to be religious".

Although I agree with stem cell research, if you research it enough you will know the debate is far more complex than what this guy puts forward. I saw the legislation for the research get passed by our Australian Goverment a few weeks back and they coverd the topic far far far better.
