The Tenth Dimension

Imagining the fourth dimension is hard but 6 more dimensions after that is mind boggling. It is all theory though mathematically proved.

the idea of 11th dimension is, that you can go from any point to any point, like jumping from the 10th straight to 1st and start all over, or maybe somewhere in the middle.

Darren, it's not all that hard to disprove a conventional god. In fact, it's pretty easy. All you have to do is point out the fact that there is no proof and bam, it proceeds to exist in the null and void state like every single thing for which there is no proof.

It's the same problem with the fourth dimension. While it's nice, there's no reason to believe time exists beyond the human imagination. We use first and second dimension to describe images(Though they're really not), but there's no reason to believe there's an actual second dimension filled with things of only two dimensional objects.

It has been long ago theorized that there exist an infinite number of dimensions, in fact, we mathematically analyze all possible dimensions all the time (Elementary Linear Algebra). String theory is based on strings vibrating in 10 dimensions, but....

Riddle me this...

How do we know that we are not just the apparition of an entire Universe based on another Universe? How do we know that we are not the science experiment of a Macro-Cosmic Science Class? Then there would be an entire Universe outside of our Universe that we would be contained in and that would add another 10 Dimensions, bringing the total to 20 dimensions, including a plethora of dimensions where we didn't exist.

Now suppose that our Macro-Cosmic Science Class is based in a Universe that is based in another Universe... We can carry these thought experiments to infinity.

So, if the number of dimensions is infinite, where does God fit in? Adding another dimension to our already infinite number of dimensions would create a finite number, since we have to have an end to the numbers to add 1 more (infinity+1 is not a mathematical convention). Either there is a finite number of Universes and (if there is a God) God is based in the very last universe, or there is an infinite number of Universes and there is no room for all but "local" Gods with no actual "universal" God.

Likewise, if we are the creations of our Macro-Cosmic Science Class, then there are many Gods (relatively speaking, from our vantage point) but does that imply a Universal God even to them?

I am curious to hear responses. Continue the fun.

Eh, yes the theories of 11 demensions (10 included in here) are mathematically proven...but it's a theory of science....proven by string theory. String theory brought about all these dimensions (5 and on). Some people believe that string theory isn't true and not an applicable science....so if u think that way, there aren't scientifically 11 dimensions in the world. If u believe it to be so, this video explains what these dimensions mean :P

believe it or not but this is more believable than a supernatural god. the 11 dimmensions at least have theories proving it. all god has is a bible in wich we dont even know if its true. for all we know it was a group of guys sitting in a coffe house 2000 years ago brainstorming on how to convince dumbasses into believing a wacky fairy tale. it is just so well written it seems to make sense. there are loop holes in it though. this isnt the time to talk about that though. i hope all u christians read this and keep an open mind(wich is imposible for a true christian because as soon as they hear god doesnt exist they block there minds and say yes he does and try to threaten people saying there going to hell for not believing, but think about this the person telling them god doesnt exist obvliously doesnt believe in him, therefore he doesnt belive in heaven or hell so when someone tells them they are going to hell its like telling someone they are going to Shrek's magical swamp. FUCK this world im gonna go get high

The trouble with imaging the point in the tenth dimension as the same as a point in the first dimension is this.

A point is a undefined. it has no dimensions to it, and is simple place marker/ anchor for a posion in a demmensional plane.

but the argument that a point in the 10th dimmension is a point in first dimension is no different to claiming that a point in the 4th dimmension is a point in the 1st dimmension. but we know thats not true.

Also a point in the 10th dimmension may not have physical volume or size. but is does have a deffinition. jsut as a point in the 3rd dimmension has a hight width and depth. a point in the 10th dimmension has a deffination. (just 10 values rather than 3) and again a point in the first dimension has no deffination to it. so the points in the 10th dimmension are different points to those in the first. so it cant be a cycle!

but then again. 10 dimmensional space is just a threoy. one of the most compelling in moden sicence. but deffently not the only one. :)

The grand difference between a theory and a scientific theory is proof, empirical evidence. Evolution is a scientific theory, there is proof, there has been observed instances of speciation.

String theory, all that, still remains in the theory stage. It is speculation, but it has no evidence yet. Just some people saying it could be true. And while they may be right, without any evidence for it, there's little reason to believe in it. An explanation of what you believe doesn't constitute proof, simply verification upon your claim.

i cant believe the fourth dimension, because well i smoked salvia *legal drug in washington* and it took me their, and after i came down off of it i was all tripped out because i went to the fourth dimension the only way i could tell my friends about it was it was as if i was looking into two mirrors and it has that forever thing going, than when i went from the fourth dimension back to the third, it was......the weirdest thing i still cant explain it, it was as if everything was folding into itsself, and after it folded me, i was back in my friends room going "what the fuck just happened"
