The Tenth Dimension

Imagining the fourth dimension is hard but 6 more dimensions after that is mind boggling. It is all theory though mathematically proved.

"If it will ever be possible in the future to travel backwards in time, ever in the entire lifespan of the human race, wouldn't we be seeing some evidence of travelers from the future at this very moment?"

i read someone's theory (i forget who or where) where they said that time travel will only be possible from the point that you create a working time machine onward. Why? Because that is the point in which that time line splits off from this time line. So once you create a time machine it is able to move about only in its own time line and 'our' time line wouldn't be affected because the past that the time machine is in is now in it's own time line w/ it's own past (even tho its past is identical to ours).

and then when you did go back in time and give yourself the sports almanac and get rich you're creating a new time line yet again and the future of your rich self wont be your future because it is now in its own new time line and not affecting yours.

...and then you would never be bale to get back to your original time line because every one you entered would be a different new time line containing the 'you' that popped into that time line.

Understanding the 10 dimentions kind of lessen the fear of death since death is only one of many possible outcomes of time which is another dimention that can be changed through other possible outcomes. These theory's kind of make things like age, time, and even phyisics kind of trivial since our current status is one of infinite. But the only thing is if we were to cross dimentions into other possible outcomes would we be conscious of it?

C'mon guys. All this guy's doing is constructing a philosophical system that you can interpret as something ten dimensional-- and he doesn't even pull that off properly. For one, there's no reason to believe that just because you're "folding" some lower dimensional structure, that you do it through a higher dimensional structure; that's the whole point of intrinsic geometry! And there's no connection here to string theory or quantum mechanics. I'm guessing he just threw those words in to impress people. Or something.

Anyway, it's not hard to visualize 10 dimensional things, as long as those dimensions aren't spatial. Hell, the set of shapes you can make with a rope is an *infinite* dimensional structure! Try parametrizing them with numbers and you'll see what I mean. (Note that I'm talking about the set of all possible shapes, not the shapes themselves, which are 1 dimensional). Linear transformations of three dimensional space form a nine dimensional space, and that's a hell of a lot closer to what the string theorists are talking about than this.

But having said all that, I did like the vid. 4/5.

There is a book called Flatlanders .. good read .. only trouble with post fourth dimensional theory is we have little physical evidence .. concepts on paper are all well & good but if you cant show it in practice every day terms .. its unreasonable to expect people to accept it ..

Consciousness needs to be scientifically understood better .. so that people experiences .. dreams .. visions .. conceptual visualizations .. can be recorded & scrutinized thoroughly ..

plus having a bright idea will be far easier to make a reality when you can record your idea right out of your head so others can more easily help you break it down into applicable terms ..

dillinger thats pretty much the string theory everything is intertwined and thus you can fold and link other possibilities i.e. universes, inifinities (dimensions as this video puts it)
when you grasp that everthing is intertwined with this subatomic "strings" this becomes a whole lot easier to understand

i have no idea what just happened.....but now that were on confusing subjects....imagine this.....



our bodies are composed of conutinually recycled products from history.....like our mothers ate beef from cows who ate grass who gets its nutrients from the ground which is basically composed of dead bugs../ leaves who ate diseased humans/animals...so in reality havent our bodies already been at least one person and mostly likely more...think about it

String Theory is so crazy, it ammazes me that quantum physicists will go to such great lengths to disprove the existence of a conventional God (Jehovah, Allah, Yaweh etc.) and Heaven. that they in fact have to create their own scientific God (Strings) and its unprovable realm the tenth Dimension.

if the 10th dimension is all the universes together, then they missed one more, the 11th dimension, which is the one that connects the points together and makes up continuous loops within. because the points are all 1st dimension objects, so really, that makes up 11th dimension. thats where the end is, its endless!
