The Tenth Dimension

Imagining the fourth dimension is hard but 6 more dimensions after that is mind boggling. It is all theory though mathematically proved.

@ ichigo

its just a theory? That little thing on your ceiling called the lightbulb, was invented by theory and calculations. Theories are important because they help make predictions of how things will behave in a new context. No theories = no prediction, no experience and no one to ask questions.

Gernerally, it's not a theory, but imaginary thought provoking ideals. If you don't get a headache from this, then you aren't thinking creatively enough.

i wish they would have portrayed the 5th dimension more 'visually', it sounds like a really hip place!

But how is a dimension folded? Surely this is all speculative bullshit that could never happen unless god farted?

Does anyone else notice the pattern? And if you do, does it remind you of the pattern for Imaginary number?
You know i = Square root of -1
i to the second power = -1
i to the third power = - i
and i to the fourth power = 1

What do you think????

consider for a second that the past is intangible (i.e. no longer exists past the moment it was the present) and that the present is a product of the remnants of the past. not being able to make a definate point to draw the line of your present self to your past self being that relatively you couldn't visit or occupy something that technically doesn't exist in the physical. wouldn't it technically make time a ray? being all time up to and including the present a single point in itself, with the line erasing itself as it progresses toward the future?

dunno, just a thought

Doesn't this mean that there is in fact a universe out there where the entire storyline of stargate sg-1 is real and currently going on?

Dillinger, the ant in the 2nd dimension can't possibly get from edge to edge in 1 step, only if it's folded. Do you consider a folded paper a 2 dimensional object then? I guess you misenterpit(sp) universe as being everything. It isn't.
anticitizen_one, yes it would. But time is not intangible. And the past will always be there. The future is there already, we just don't know it because we're stuck in the past(present).

what he is trying to finally say is that in order to jump from one dimension to another we need to be able to control a greater dimension than the 2 previons ones in order to join them togheter at a point. The only way to do that is to be god. so i guess we can wait

Say hello to advanced algebraic vectors on steroids.

Imagine doing cross product on tenth dimensions. SWEET.
