I am not rasict. But in the cops defense, alot of crime like car jacking and robbery in the US are african americans... thats just a simple fact. So to turn up at this scene and see what looks like a guy trying to getaway with a black guy dressed in black trying to grab him etc... it doesn't look good. Was the cop meant to say "excuse me can I ask you a question?" in that sort of situation.

I can see how that video looks rasicst but in my opinion its just bad assumption.

As for the vid, and according to the police officer report, the security guard failed to identify himself, thus leaving the officer with no other options but to taser him. Also, how come the secutiry guard is not wearing a badge or at least a jacket with some sort of logo on it, so people could at least know who the !@#$ he is.

In the middle of a struggle, I doubt either of the men would have heard the officers instructions, also, if the police officer was following correct procedure, she would have ordered the theif (victim) to stay put while everything was sorted out.
I think it was a scared female officer who was intimidated by two large men fighting, and she took down the one who appeared most threatening.

This is why racial profiling is wrong. You get incidents like these and the one that happened in NYC with the young man who got shot outside of a night club the day before his wedding. But the people here are pretty stupid, so I don't think they'd venture to understand my reasoning.

even if the security guard were just a pedestrian, and maybe even white too, I still think the policewoman would taze him, if it did indeed look like a one-sided scuffle.

In order to restore order to the situation you have to taze the attacker, so it makes it ezier to deal with the last guy remaining (the one being attacked)

If both guys were fightng like dogs though, you can bet she'd taze both of 'em. The only thing the security guard did wrong was being the stronger man and not identifying his security status.

In the back of my mind though, I bet she just was damn scared of black people, and had a MALE policeman arrived at the scene of the carjacking, the black dude woulda been shot too.
