Terrible description.

For one thing, Scots are Brits, making the description pretty much irrelevant.

Apart from that, the lowland Scots and many of the clans supported the Government- it was only the catholic clans who were the jacobites- and there were in fact More Scots fighting on the Government side than for the jacobites at the battle of Culloden. So it was not a Scotland vs England scenario

Wow, someone need to calm down...it's called a 'civil war' for a reason.

Description is sketchy but the video is good for any history buff. All these new shows they are coming out with that re-enact battles are pretty cool.

The Brits could have won easily against the Scots at any time, all they had to do was point at the Scotts while laughing and say " look their wearing skirts, what a bunch of fags!" Then when the Scots look down and realize their embaressing situation they would start to turn around and run home and change into some pants, then you could hack them down from behind.

I know this is probably going to come back with negative comments, but everyone is entitled to say as they wish.

Last time I checked, the brits uniform at the time consisted of constricting tights that did nothing for the soldier but show uniformity. It did next to nothing for the soldier's comfort and certainly didn't camouflage them...

Now MANWHORE, if you've got something civil to say, go ahead, but making ignorant comments like that are not welcome.

The Kilt is actually quite the useful part of the Scottish uniform. It's tartan(pattern) symbolized the individual clans(families). And not only did it serve as a portable blanket and a warm uniform, it made for easy access for the women ;)
