Hey Pungyeon, before you "RANT" about something your clueless on, learn the language! It does`nt (ENCHANCE) the guitar ? Try looking up big boy words before you try and use them. I`m not a big fan of this type of playing either but the guy wrote a decent tune, and I`m going to check out his other stuff before I criticize his talent.

ive been playing for over 13 years, and that kinda stuff takes a massive amount of rythme and an extraordinary amount of creativity. im sure he has his own special tuning, but i know that it must be hard doing hammer-ons with his right hand and still getting a great sound out of it (especially from an acoustic) i unfortunately have gone to the extent of my learning ability .self taught, so im not all that good, but i get by.....one day at a time.

And once again we see Spikedhumor's community failing to accept any criticism ..... Just look at this comment:

I'm not afraid of it.... I just don't like it. My rant doesn't fail as its merely my opinion. If someone started tapping his saxophone while playing it with his ass, someone would tell him to stop. If u want to be a one-man band, then do it properly.... U have to admit, the tapping he did was just NOT necessary..... The song would sound perfectly nice without it.

Then there's this comment:

If you really judge ANY argument, based on the language used. Your a moron.... But just before you teach me a lesson in language.... try connecting your words properly... it's doesn't not does n't..... Tit...

at least this guy is playing something new, the other lot that do the slap tap drift shit sounds like they are playing the same fucking song.

This is less harsh and is a nice sweet tone.

that's insane. i think that the 'drumming' adds a bit more to the song, it's kind of relaxing... for some reason.

Pungyeon, people have been slapping guitars since their invention...people used to do the same with their lutes before guitars...ever seen a mariachi band?

Slapping the guitar is something that went away and is just now making a comeback...technically you could say that not slapping the guitar is the improper way to play.
