I'm sorry, but I really fucking hate this kind of playing guitar... (it's getting too common in other words...)

1. Hitting your guitar is not gonna help for shit! Get some friends, teach them how to drum, u lonely prick

2. It doesn't actually enchance the sound of a guitar... It just makes it harder to play!

3. Wtf is up with soooooooooooo many ppl doing it? It was cool the first few times I saw it, but now....

4. If u really feel like playing an instrument where u have to whack your fingers down on it... get a fucking piano....

Stanley Jordan did NOT invent touchstyle, he just helped popularize it. Tapping has actually been used for centuries by violinists. The technique was adapted for guitar in the early 50's (possibly earlier) before Stanley Jordan was even born. And Pungyeon, tapping is defenetely a useful technique, if used correctly. It allows a guitarist to play in both the upper and lower registers simultaneously, which isn't really possible otherwise. Plus, a tapped note has a different tone than a picked or plucked note, which is often times more desirable to the player. You seem to be a traditionalist when it comes to music, but there's really no reason to be afraid of musicians using seemingly unconventional techniques. In summary, your rant fails.

Totally awsomne, I was using my guitar as a drum once, just cuz I did n't have one around to beat on... looks like somone took the drum/guitar concept seriously and did something nice.... I like!
