Is FFXIII different from FFversusXIII? Or is that just the name they're giving FFXIII. Cos i thought the main character in FFXIII was a red haired girl...this could be the bad guy, who knows. Glad to see these games are getting a little more mature, FFXII was a good step forward.

I was under the impression that Versus will be a seperate game, set in the same world and timeline as FFXIII.
Anyway, I am so excited to see what an FF is like on the PS3. FFXII is so impressive while still on the PS2.

FFXIII and FF Vs. XIII are different games. Regardless, both look very awesome. Can't wait to see some game play.

They are different games, both on PS3. In addition there will be a third game that is playable completely on some cellphone, why? I have no clue.

I havent been keeping up on the FF series, i got XII for ps2 and im about halfway through it but i get sidetracked...never got into XI...

i got a bit pissed when i bought X-2 tho, aside from the battle system its an awful game. XII seems allright so far, but i dont really like the music...
I miss Uematsu's fresh tunes.

I dont understand why square merged with enix anyways, all they ever had was dragon warrior, but i guess their pretty popular in japan...

now Im fucking rambling again... stfu Violetninja420, no one wants to hear it....

^completely agree with X-2 being one of, if not the worst, FF in all time. Could only stand about 30 mins of it before it never saw the PS2 again. BTW my fiancé is buying the buster sword from 7, anybody know of a good place...full size and full tang?

Maybe the so called "evil" person in this game is relative, i mean, for the chick in the ff13 the evil dude could be this guy, but for this guy, the evil persons could be the ones with the chick in ff13? I'm not really sure, but that's what i somehow understood from all the quotes in the vid. Just a thought don't flame me for this as I have no idea what the game is about.

Square Enix had only just officially announced Final Fantasy XIII at its E3 2006 press conference, but that didn't stop the company from announcing its sequel. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is being created by the same team responsible for Kingdom Hearts II and will be an "extreme action game" that serves as the direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII to appear on the PlayStation 3. The trailer for the game was done by the same team that put together Advent Children, and it has been confirmed that the same team will do the Versus 13's in-game cutscenes as well.

The series of FFXIII is called Fabula Nova Crystallis, and will consist of three games: Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.Fabula Nova Crystallis is latin for "The new tale of the crystal."

Final Fantasy XIII is part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series and will be an RPG for the Playstation 3 Console.
