The basic point of the joke is the irony that this family thinks that their act is SO good, when really it's the most disgusting things that the person telling the joke can think of. The idea that these people could compile so many disgusting acts into one performance, and then have the audacity to call themselves "The Aristocrats" is the basic premise of the joke. Not a good joke in and of itself, with the crappy punchline and the silly premise, but it's more about the journey than it is about the punchline.
It's a joke that's funnier to the person telling it than the people listening, which makes it somewhat of a rarity among jokes.

^^^in this joke nothing is "wrong per say" being as all of it is wrong lol this kind of reminds me of when I went to holly wood:

So anyways me and my wife walk in to this big time Hollywood producers office.

So I walk up to the guy and I go:

slowly from in the wings comes my loving and caring daughter

he also spins round and round

me and my wife then proceed to both at the same time mind you we both proceed to bend are keens at a 45 angel

we both then sit on to the floor the shit runs down our legs and makes a soupy mess on the ground

our son now spins to face his mothers brown river of love and bends down to cover his face in her shit

our daughter dose the same

the 2 little angels proceed to lick each other clean

while the kids are licking the shit from one another form my wife pulls off her dress and calls “Sparkey”

the dog promptly runs out and stands behind her. He stays still like a statue

I then demand in a high voice “Sparkey Fuck” he then proceeds to fuck the shit right out of my wife pussy.
I then move be hind the dog and start fucking the dog in his little doggey hole. And let me just say what a ass hole to it is just so wonderful.

My son comes over and pretends to be a king of earth as he orders us all to switch “so sayith lord earth mull the 2end” this is his DnD name and he made it up all by him self

Please reference the wikipedia article about the joke. It's not really the joke itself that is suppose to be funny.

But I've heard in a documentary about it that it originated as kind of like "hazing" a new comedian. The older, wiser comedian would tell this joke with the most depraved and offensive material within it, and after the punchline "the Aristocrats!", the new comedian (instead of leaving in a huff all offended) had to laugh to sort of kiss up and pay homage to the older comedian.
