by the time they figure out how to let it park itself, there will a line of pissed off people honging their horns and they could have parked already and gone inside the store already! and what happens if something goes wrong with the parking system? the car won't move? or it gets stuck in reverse and whatever happens, happens? it seems like a pointless feature in a car in my opinion...just park the dang car like everyone else does and move along! : /

Still, it does look like one of those stupid gimmicks used to impress stupid rich people with more money than sense!

The most unbearable thing about this video is that you can tell these guys really thought we would find them 'cute'. Gosh, how infuriating this new fangled technology can be, why didn't they design it more intuitivly, oh arn't we cute the way we whine and curse at each other as we try to improvice some shtick for the cameras.

I´ve seen this work, but don´t know if it was a Lexus(toyota).
But I think it´s supposed to draw a red square over the parking spot, letting you know where it thinks he can park. Then you need to accept it or w/e.

The red square thing is for the parallel parking feature. I have seen it work and yeah, it is slow, just learn to freaking drive and tell the old farts to turn in their licenses and everybody will do ok.
