Lets see, 1/4 inch space in between each slab of airated concrete that is more than 2 feet long and only 1 inch thick... Doesnt seem very special to me. Why don they atleast lay them flat on eachother with no gaps. The gaps allow the slab of concrete above it to gain momentum to strike the slab right below it, If there were no gaps between any of those concrete slabs, i dought they would even get the 2nd concrete slab to break... This "karate" wood breaking and concrete breaking is just a parlore trick with alot of glorified "HIYAH!" and "HIEETS!" to heighten the effect of there performance. 1/5

@Jr then why don't you go out find some "airated slabs of concrete" space them 1/4 inch apart and see you don't break your knuckles, fingers and or wrist.

still, you'll notice that after every strike they press foward... this allows the counter force to be affected by an opposite force diminishing the strenght of the former... I think that this is the "trick" to it aside from the anatomy lesson...

If you ever get the chance to watch the entire "Fight Science" show, it's well worth it.

If you ever want to see these guys more, you can catch them at the ISKA Nationals in Florida. They play it on ESPN from time to time. These guys compete in the power breaking division....naturally.
