It may have been just or not.. Comedians go up on stage to preform and no matter how good you are, you get hecklers... You deal with them in a way that doesn't cause shit loads of turmoil.

So no, it doesn't matter if what was said prior was just or not - he is a comedian, he should know how to defuse the situation correctly.

Ever been on stage, an had two people, of undetermined race or ethnicity, become beligerent and wont quiet themselves in a public auditorium, AND then, the presenter tells them to shut up! i love Richards. He was so funny on Seinfeld. He had a bad night, just like he said. He probably just said what everyone was thinking, he had a bunch of laughs before the argument got out of hand. I would like to see more of the video in order to make an accurate judgment on the entire life of the man. I'm not going to let one incident like this completely change how i feel towards the guy.
