I think that was the Quebec ice storm of 1998. Someone in Canada forgot to turn off the air conditioner in summer... Look what happened.

Oregon had a pretty nice snow/ice storm a while ago. in salem we got close to an inch of ice on top of 11in of snow. Pretty intense.

IWas in high school during the ice storm

it happened on the first day of school after christmas vacation lol.

I remember waking up and then hearing on the radio that school was cancelled and flipping out. Then during the celebration the power went out.

We didn't have power for a week and a half. I lived in a winter coat for a week and llived off canned food. But I was a kid so it was a lot of fun. My dad went berserk by the last few days lol.

It was neat to see the trees covered in 2 inches of ice. It looked like the trees had dread llocks. We spent a whole day just picking off the huge icicles from the trees and throwing them on the street. It sounded like glass.

our car was buried in 4 inches of ice. The suspension kinda got fucked cuz the car was pushed down by the weight of the ice.

I remember Toronto laughed at us cuz we called in the national guard. The year after that they called in the national guard too after a simple snow storm. Good times lol.

Wow, you went through the same thing I did. I was in High school in a small town outside Ottawa. Two weeks without school or power. You couldn't go anywhere that was on a slant. The ice tore down tree branches a telephone poles like nothing. The roads were a disaster.

I loved it because I was a kid but my parents were really mad.
