Yah.. aren't these things GREAT!

Now, if only we can get every nation on the planet a few of these for their arsenals... This may staunch the cavalier attitude many have towards war or it would hasten the inevitable.

Atleast it would make the amerikan's think twice about their policy of "invade first, think later".

the germans were 2 years away from creating the atomic bomb. but then of course the russians beat them, and the americans stole all the german information. what a shame. one day this atomic bomb will kill every1 on this planet, however it could save us one day from an astroid or who knows what.

When I first saw this video it was in my high school history class and the video was called "Operations Crossroads Baker Event 1946." When in July of '46 U.S. detonated the "Baker" atomic bomb at Bikini Atoll in the Pacific in the first underwater test of the device during "Operation Crossroads." The test was made to record the effect of a nuclear explosion on naval vessels. The targets brought into Bikini Lagoon were outdated U.S. Navy ships and German and Japanese vessels captured during WW II. The bomb was encased in a watertight steel caisson, suspended 90 feet below. Armed and then detonated at 8:45 am. So yes it was a "underwater atomic bomb."

@ dsaj the other video that is posted on here showed only aerial footage of the test and not what this video showed which I founded to be more interesting.

@ Entreri The description was suppose to be "This is also known to be the type of bomb used in Hiroshima." I didn't realized what I said til it was too late.

Sorry for the long post, I should of giving u the above info in my descripcion. There is another version that I was gonna originally post but, I had problems with it. If y'all want to see it, I can try to upload it.

I would definately recommend downloading a documentary called "Trinity and Beyond" from torrent. They claim USA has conducted 331 atmospheric nuclear tests in total between 1945 and 1962.
