Who has controlled the Middle East over the course of history? Pretty much everyone. Egyptians, Turks, Jews, Romans, Arabs, Persians, Europeans...the list goes on. Who will control the Middle East today? That is a much bigger question.

Bahrain
Egypt
Iran
Iraq
Jordan
Kuwait
Lebanon
Libya


Morocco
Oman
Palestine
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Sudan
Syria
Tunisia
Turkey
United Arab Emirates
Yemen

Unfortunately, the majority of the planets OIL is in that region. This is a resource that the west CAN NOT do without.
