This is a sequel to the Jim Carrey smash 'Bruce Almighty', starring a supporting character from the original: Evan. Played by Steve Carrell, Evan is called upon by God (Morgan Freeman) to build an ark.

I actually think that this looks to be pretty good. It looks to have a bit more of a "The Santa Clause"-type of feel, where Carrell's character is just thrown into it. He also seems a little more convincing in this role than Jim Carrey did in "Bruce Almighty".

Well as much as I loved Bruce Almighty, and will no doubt love this one too, I cannot help but think this (and Van Wilder 2) just goes to prove how little original thought there is left in the world!

Son of Mask and Dumb and Dumberer where sequals that didn't have Carrey in but they also didn't have Steve Carrell in... this movie should be good. Not great...but good.
