A MAN'S nose was torn off by two dogs during a brawl with the animals' owner in a West Australian caravan park.
The 48-year-old victim had begun fighting with the owner of the pitbull-cross dogs at Halls Creek in WA's north about 9pm (WST) yesterday, police said.
When he fell over, his 41-year-old rival allegedly held him down and set the dogs on him.
One of the dogs ripped the man's nose off and he also suffered serious cuts, police said.
He was taken to Halls Creek Hospital and later flown to Perth for surgery.
The dogs' owner was charged with grievous bodily harm and will appear in court tomorrow.
His animals were later seized by local rangers.
