Real faith isn't like this. Real faith is actually going out and working with people, showing them your faith through various means: community service, social interaction, etc. My church regularly does what are called "water bottle outreaches" during the summer. Basically, we go downtown, to parks, city corners, etc, and hand out water bottles. When people ask why, we tell them that we feel called to serve the Lord, and that He loves you and wants to let you know that. To which one person replied, "That's Fuckin' Awesome!" It's people like the ones in this video that are a negative influence on christianity. They make Christianity seem like "It's all about me, the believer" when in actuality "it's all about God, the Father."

"When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. Truly I tell you, they shall receive their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like the pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your father knows what you need before you ask him." (Matthew 6:5-8)

Seriousness aside, this guy is nuts. ddrfr33k seems to know what he's talking about. At the end of the passage, when it says "Do not be like them, for your father knows what you need before you ask him.", then I thought, "Why the hell do we need to pray if he already knows then?" But that`s cool.
