Gah, they think its worth the effort to climb up, as in a once in a life time, before they drop dead opportunity. SO, as a result, going up is slower then death by torture because they insist on hogging the space.

when i went i just sat at the bottom with my mom cuz 1. she had diabetes and 2. Even if she didn't we still wouldn't go cuz we are lazy lol. and we had this one asian guy trying to sell us magic stuff.......and kept doing the same trick over and over and went on for 30 minutes...Anywhere u walk in china someone will try to sell you something. They have it bad over there when compared to america.

Yep, tourist centers suck. I feel so stupid in a huge crowd of tourists that I cant even enjoy the scenery anymore.
You dont see the real place when youre there in a crowd of 2000+. And not the real local people either... there are just a bunch of vultures that just wanna sell useless stuff to the stupid "longnoses", as they call us europeans in China ^^
The real country is only off the tourist path.
