this was shot in southern africa the whale was beached so the authorities pushed it back in the water

Great video... however.

When "scientists" do this stupid Steve Erwin type theatrics, like unecessarily getting on top of rotting meet to get a closer look, it really shows a lack of respect for the animals and a lack of brains.

A. Wasn't there a guy in a shark cage beneate the water the day before? Isn't that about as close as you can get?

B. How does getting on top of the meat give you a better angle? Did this asshole NOT see the smart woman with the 12 inch telescopic lens?

See, Steve Erwin did this shit and it was really fucking annoying and dumb. Ultimately it cost him his life, boo fuckin hoo. The only thing better than this great video would be to see that nimwit slide right into the jaws of a shark. Basically re-enacting the great Jaws scene where that guy gets eaten alive.

We had this happen off the southern coast of Australia a couple of years back. Heaps of people were hiring charter boats out to the carcas to watch the frenzy. the new showed one guy hop off a boat and stand on the dead whale... beer in hand. Talk about taking your life in your hands.
